I cannot believe how amazing New Barn is and how much my daughter has changed since attending. Confidence has grown, academically, socially and emotionally

You send your child to New Barn knowing they will be safe and welcomed regardless of their mood, situation or mental state, as a parent you grow confident in the staff who seem to understand each child uniquely.
I would highly recommend New Barn school to any parent of a special needs child. New Barn school has changed all our lives for the better. Our child is now able to attend school, their mental health has greatly improved since attending New barn. We are sure that our child will now be able to achieve all they wish too. New Barn school is such a warm, friendly, inclusive, supportive and nurturing school. We feel so lucky that our child is able to be a pupil at New Barn School.
My son is calmer and is ready to listen wheras before we couldnt say anything. We are no longer walking on glass. He doesnt tic as much, and is beginning to give things a go, even if it's for a short time. The stress levels at home are very low now, thanks to everyone at New Barn. THANK YOU!!
Being a parent at New Barn feels like a true partnership. It is a relief to have my child in an environment where his neurodiversity is understood and where behaviour is treated as communication rather than a problem. My daughter only started at New Barn 4 months ago. The transition support was excellent and pupils and staff were very welcoming. She very quickly felt part of the school community
New Barn has made it possible for ******* to attend school - in mainstream his full time attendance was 18% last year. At New Barn he is on 85%. ******* is well understood by the Primary Staff, he is looked after and supported to so well. As parents to see him so happy, sleeping well and wanting to go to School is all we can ask for. ******* is supported brilliantly in the playground with friendships - a very tricky aspect for him. We are listened to and understood by ******* teachers and we receive fantastic weekly phone calls. If there has been a blip in the day we are telephoned about it before ******* gets home. New Barn is part of our family … if ******* is not at home he is at school and both are his safe and happy places!
We feel very privileged that our child attends New Barn. The school is fantastic. Our child can be himself and as result is gaining confidence which better allows him to learn. We would be lost with New Barn.
New Barn is an excellent school my son continues to thrive here.
